German competitor Alexander Zverev beat U.S. Taylor Fritz in the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Fritz struggled with a shoulder problem, notably hampering his play. The contest was clearly one-sided, lopsided. Zverev currently meets Britain’s Arthur Fery in the next round. Fery secured a surprise victory over Italy’s Flavio Cobolli. The British contender will play Zverev for a spot in the final at SW19.
