A Pensacola man has been sentenced to over three and a half years in federal prison for financial fraud, false passport use, and personal identity theft. The case involved illegal use of identities and fake checks. In another case, a contractor pleaded guilty to a dishonest billing scheme against a water board in Prichard. Additionally, Boise Police have issued warnings about recent fraudulent Tap-to-Pay activities following a recent arrest.
