BYD has ended production of its cheapest electric car after low demand prompted the move. In spite of its affordability, sales remained very low all year, so the company pulled the plug. Currently, no plan has been stated to replace it yet.
The brand then revealed a range of fresh models at a motor show. The range spanned a small city runabout to bigger SUVs and crossovers. Crowds and reporters in the UK gathered in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
