His death was publicly confirmed that day.
He spent several years on the show and became a recognised face in both Australia and the UK.
Former co‑star Melissa George said she is devastated.
She called the loss “utter devastation” and described it as “absolutely heartbreaking”.
She added that his talent and camaraderie will be missed.
