Ed Husic, Australia’s Industry Minister, criticised Labour’s inner culture after his proposal to allow a debate on recognising Gaza failed to pass.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said described his outburst at a gathering as incompetent.
Husic responded by saying he was unperturbed by criticism, telling reporters: "put me in a freezer, I don't give a sh*t."
The dispute followed previous efforts to push the party to declare events in Gaza as genocide.
Leaked files and internal files were later filed that revealed sharp splits within Labour’s ranks over policy and leadership.
