The long-running Festival d'Été de Québec closed with strong numbers. Big acts played multiple stages on Grande-Allée and inside Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted an increased number of visitors than ever before. Opening night had a few issues which might have become a messier problem. Rain showers caused trouble on several days. Still, locals kept turning out despite the hurdles. A quick check after the event showed the majority of people were happy with how it ran, even with the rough patches .
