Andy Burnham's recent proposal for deeper Scottish devolution has been criticized as a blunder. The offer comes amid ongoing discussions about Scottish independence and devolution. Burnham has invited Nicola Sturgeon to work together on this issue. However, critics argue that the timing of the proposal is ill-timed given the ongoing debates. Some experts have suggested that Burnham's move could damage the chances of a peaceful resolution to the current political crisis in Scotland. Others argue that the proposal could also exacerbate relations between the UK government and the Scottish administration. The debated proposal has also raised questions about Burnham's political intentions and whether he is aiming to capitalize on the ongoing negotiations.
