Elsewhere, the governing body also announced revised rankings for women's teams. South Africa's women's squad qualified for the forthcoming Cricket World Cup. This qualification occurred after they defeated Namibia in a qualifier tournament. The win locked in their place in the tournament. The two ranking updates were handled separately by the ICC.
