Users worldwide report problems with Instagram ranging from login failures and timed-out content. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports matching these issues. All the app and website appear non-functional at once. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
