Iran states that the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked to commercial vessels. The waterway is completely shut. Iran and Oman are currently drafting a deal for a safe transit route. Oman called the talks constructive. At the same time, the United States is pausing further restrictions connected with the conflict.
Iran also issued a blacklist for petroleum vessels in Gulf waters. This list creates fresh dangers for moving crude across the region. Moving oil remains risky now. Iran and Oman keep talking about maritime corridors. Even so, Iran reiterates that the Strait stays closed.
