The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit decisively denied ex President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to stop the removal of his name from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The court that heard the case said the request will not be granted while his appeal proceeds.
The decision indicates the Kennedy Center will keep Trump’s name off its building at present. Earlier rulings also rejected Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case remains pending in the appeals process.
