Luke Evans leads The Party, a psychological thriller that launched on ITV on October 11, 2026. The series explores politics, privilege, and class.

Reviews came in from the Guardian, Telegraph, Radio Times, and the Independent. Critics called it pacey, seductive, and well-cast, pointing to a well-constructed script and committed performances across the cast.

Evans told the BBC that filming close to home felt joyous. The show's atmosphere leans into tension and privilege and its cracks, which landed well with most viewers.

Most people watching liked it. Some pushed back online, saying at least one scene was a step too far. That back-and-forth picked up some traction on social media once the opening episode aired.
