Peter Navarro, a adviser to Donald Trump, has warned Canadian lobbyists to stay away from the U.S., according to several accounts. Navarro's remarks were part of a broader message urging Canada to avoid interfering in the U.S. midterm elections. The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has refused to impose additional trade pressure, despite Navarro's messages. The incident has sparked a diplomatic incident between the two countries.
