World Space Week 2026 is running from October 4 to 10 under the theme "Rocket Revolution," focused on how falling launch costs could make space available to more countries and organisations. Google marked the occasion with a dedicated Doodle, while Adafruit took part in activities linked to the week.

The European Space Agency teamed up with Pokemon GO to offer a limited-time Astronaut Pikachu to players during the week. Katara also took part in the event. World Space Week is the largest annual space event on Earth, celebrated in more than 90 countries.
