Quebec recently has pledged five million dollars to grow the Bota Bota floating spa the unique spa in Montreal.
The cash will fund a second boat for the fleet. Visitor numbers have been climbing, prompting the move, according to local media said. The province has not released any more financial data.
Work is slated to start this spring, in the upcoming season, and the new vessel is expected to be operating by early 2027. Officials note the additional space will cut wait times and lift tourism revenue. The added capacity is expected to ease overcrowding during peak days.
