Ed Harris complained at the start about his limited part in the new show in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was useless and wanted to leave. Harris told Variety, 'firmly Get me the f- out of here' as he threw his hands up. He later chose to return for Season 2 to come back for the next season. The show’s boss reworked the story and gave his character more to do. That change made Harris choose to stay. Deadline now says he will return to the character.
