Equinor has flagged that the United Kingdom risks becoming "uninvestable" if North Sea projects Jackdaw and Rosebank are blocked. The Norwegian energy company's chief executive questioned whether future investment in the UK could continue if drilling approvals are denied, prompting coverage in the BBC, The Times, and the Financial Times.

The warning puts pressure on UK energy policy at a time when the government is deciding on the future of North Sea development. Blocking the two projects, Equinor argued, would create real uncertainty about the country's appetite for large-scale energy investment.
