The United States Central Command convened a meeting of senior commanders at a conference in Germany. Among those present were the chiefs of staff of Israel and seven Arab states. The talks centered on the ongoing war with Iran. A report by lawmakers estimates the conflict cost the Pentagon 38 billion dollars and strained missile stockpiles. The assessment says the war drained U.S. missile reserves. The conference gave senior officers from all eight countries a chance to talk through the conflict and coordinate next steps.
